DESCRIPTION
Later versions of the Moria Orc from the Merry & Pippin vs. Moria Orc two pack were released with an updated paint application. The example identified was also found to be fastened with dark green tags.
Beginning with the head area, the eyes are painted yellow and he now had additional black dotted freckles on both sides of his head. Moving down to the torso area and the paint application uses a brighter red color to the armor and his wrist is now painted black. Moving down to the legs, and you can clearly see that this version is painted with a heavier application making it appear somewhat dirty in appearance. Finally the sword and shield are now painted without the distinct vertical or coloum appearance as seen in the first, and with a brighter reddish color.
